Product Details
The Stihl TS480i is a robust cut-off saw with 3.9kW of power. It is suitable for use with 300mm cutting wheels or diamond blades with a 20mm bore. It has an electronically controlled fuel injection system which ensures perfect running properties every time and reduces fuel consumption in comparison with tools without injection technology.
Very similar to the TS410 with the benefit of the injection system offering additional power and efficiency. This Cut-Off saw has even lower vibration levels at only 2.2m/s²).
As well as the injection system some of the features that make this saw so popular are:
- Long-life filter system with cyclone pre-separation makes on site maintenance unnecessary.
- Extremely low vibration levels (2.2m/s²).
- High performance engine with stratified charge system.
- ElastoStart, primer pump and decompression valve.
- Bayonet filler cap for tool free opening.
- Electronic water control for dust suppression at the touch of a button.
The engine requires a mix of petrol and engine oil. Simply mix a Stihl 50:1 two-stroke engine oil with unleaded (95 octane) petrol. The simplest method is using a standard 5 litre fuel canister and to add 0.1 litres (100 ml) of Stihl HP 2 stroke oil, close and thoroughly shake the canister and the mix is ready to use.
For this machine we recommend either Stihl HP or Stihl HP Ultra engine oil.
