The HSA 100 is a powerful professional hedge trimmer for use in noise-sensitive areas, nurseries, landscape maintenance, and groundskeeping operations. Powered by a powerful 36 V Lithium-Ion battery and part of the STIHL AP System, it’s ideal for maintaining all types of hedges, and for trimming and pruning anything from thin branches to thick shoots that are many years old.
With long-lasting sharpness, a 60 cm / 24” double-sided cutting blade with 34 mm tooth spacing for excellent cutting performance and rapid work progress.
It’s highly ergonomic thanks to optimum power tool balance, and allows for effortless working even over longer periods thanks to the anti-vibration system, loop handle and rotatable multi-function handle. The rotatable multi-function handle means you can work comfortably and precisely when along the side of long hedges – helping you to achieve the perfect cut with your hedge trimmer! The handle can be rotated into 3 positions across 180°, reducing the strain on your wrist when cutting long hedges and making repeated motions.
The HSA 100 has an anti-block system for easy change of the cutting blades' rotational direction in the event of blockages. Constant and reliable performance is provided too thanks to the durable EC engine. Plus, the hedge trimmer comes equipped with a screw-on tip protector for low-wear work close to the ground or along walls.

Swivelling multi-function handle - The handle rotates 90 degrees to the left and the right, ensuring the best cutting position at all times
Anti-vibration system - Intense vibrations at the handles of power tools can lead to long term effects on the blood vessels in hands and arms. STIHL's effective anti vibration system dampens the oscillations from the machine's engine which significantly reduces the vibrations at the handle.
STIHL electric motor (EC) - The STIHL electric motor (EC) is extremely energy efficient, lightweight and compact. It runs quietly, generates very low vibrations and does not require servicing.
Tip protection - Comes with tip protection as standard, which prevents damage to both the blade and the gear, but also things that lie near the hedgerow. It also makes it easier to cut ground cover plants.
Scabbard - Provided with a scabbard that protects the blade during storage and transport
Two handed design - The tool is easily started by activating both switches on the loop handle and the rear handle at the same time. The cutting speed is continuously variable using the rear control for a fine and precise cut. The two handed design is suitable for both left and right hand users.
