The STIHL HLA 86 professional cordless hedge trimmer from the STIHL AP system is ideal for the efficient maintenance of tall hedges, shrubs and ground cover. The robust EC motor with infinitely variable speed delivers consistently high performance. The cutter bar can be adjusted by 115° for top, bottom or side cuts without tools. The cutter blade, ground on both sides, allows for an attractive, clean cut. The tool-free adjustable square telescopic shaft impresses with its high level of guide rigidity. The 260 - 330 cm long hedge trimmer has a very long reach and can be folded up to 180 cm for easier transport.

FEATURES
Perfectly balanced - The battery in the shaft of the HLA enables balance during use and allows or fatigue free work.
Intuitive control handle - The ergonomic operating handle has an intuitive start process and is easy to use for right and left hand users.
Double sided cutting plate - The double sided cutting plate is ground on both sides to ensure a clean cutting pattern.
Quick adjustment system - The cuter bar can be adjusted from -45 degrees to +70 degrees and can be folded and locked parallel to the shaft for transport.
Telescopic shaft with rotatable clamping sleeve - With a practical square telescopic shaft, which can be used to extend the overall length from 2.6m to 3.3m, even high or wide hedges are no problem. The shaft can be adjusted without tools using the rotatable clamping sleeve.
STIHL EC engine - The Stihl brushless electric motor (EC) is very energy efficient and practically maintenance free. Thanks to its outstanding efficiency, the battery power is directly translated to impressive performance. During operation, the electronically controlled EC motor permanently monitors the load and adjusts the engine accordingly.
Blade guard - For protection of the blade and to allow safe, easy transport, this cordless long reach hedge trimmer is equipped with a blade guard.
Tip protection - Comes with tip protection as standard, which prevents damage to both the blade and the gear, but also things that lie near the hedgerow. It also makes it easier to cut ground cover plants.
