Thanks to ElectroStart technology the BR 450 C-EF back pack blower doesn’t need to be removed from the operators back to re-start, saving time and effort. Another Benefit is fuel saving is that the tool can be easily switched off and re-started when not in use. The BR 450 C-EF also features a pull start with STIHL ErgoStart for starting at temperatures below 0° C. To suit a range of users and applications the blower tube length and handle position can be quickly adjusted without tools.

STIHL 2-MIX Engine - The 2-stroke engine with 2-MIX technology offers impressive engine performance, outstanding performance and excellent volume torque curve for high cutting performance and pulling power. Despite its power, the engine operates with low emissions so the engine already meets the requirements EU emissions standard Stage II.
Anti-vibration system - Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL has therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system whereby the oscillations from the machine's engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
Multi-function control handle - Easy, comfortable thumb-operated control means the operator's hand never leaves the handle.
Toolless handle position adjustment - The handle position can be quickly adjusted without tools to suit the operator.
Adjustable blowing tube - The blowing tube can be easily adjusted, without tools, to suit individual body sizes or individual cleaning task. This allows for optimum blowing force and control at all times.
STIHL ErgoStart (E) - The STIHL ErgoStart makes starting the tool more convenient by enabling a smooth, even pull. The start-up sequence benefits from an additional spring between the crankshaft and start-up mechanism making the whole procedure less strenuous. Even a gentle pull of the starter cord effortlessly starts up the engine.
